Leipzig-Houston: Strengthening business contacts

Michael Körner, Managing Director of Invest Region Leipzig, and Julia Binder, International Market Development Project Manager, travelled to Houston with a delegation from the City of Leipzig to further deepen economic relations between the twin cities. The aim of the trip, organised by the Office for Economic Development and the Department for International Cooperation, was to strengthen cooperation in the fields of life sciences and research. The highlight was an evening reception with Houston's new Lord Mayor John Whitmire, at which the 30-year city partnership was celebrated.
