Presentation of key projects in the city of Leipzig
‘More locations compete for fewer investors. Competition between business locations is becoming tougher in the current situation. And it is not only being fought within Germany. That's why we are broadening our horizons and looking for investors in Europe and beyond. And we have outstanding products to offer, such as the premium site in the immediate vicinity of Leipzig/Halle Airport and Porsche Leipzig. At 100 hectares, it is one of the largest contiguous industrial estates in Saxony or even Germany. Investors will find an area with excellent connections and potential for large-scale industrial development here,’ explains Clemens Schülke, Mayor for Economic Affairs of the City of Leipzig.
MIPIM 2025 is a showcase for some of the most exciting investment projects in Leipzig and the region. In addition to the Airport Industrial Park, the industrial area at the airport, the BioCity Campus will be presented, a central development project in the heart of the city that offers 100,000 m² of modern office & laboratory space. The area is already established as a centre for companies in the biotechnology and biomedicine sector.
