Invest Region Leipzig Supports Sportradar in Relocation to Leipzig
Big win for the business location
Leipzig, [19 March 2025] - Invest Region Leipzig GmbH (IRL), a municipal corporation of the City of Leipzig and the District of Leipzig, is pleased to have supported Sportradar in its relocation from Gera to Leipzig in Spring 2025, advising on office search and ensuring a smooth transition to the new location. The move will bring more than 100 employees to the trade fair city.
Growth in Leipzig
Leipzig is well situated to realise further growth. Its central location and ties to central Germany as well as its excellent transport links - especially its proximity to Berlin - enable rapid dialogue with customers and business partners. Leipzig is also regarded as one of Germany's emerging business centres. The multinational environment and the availability of qualified IT specialists are important location factors for Sportradar, which employs many international staff.
