C&L Aviation Group opens distribution centre in Zwenkau

The C&L Aviation Group, a leading global supplier of aircraft parts and provider of aviation maintenance services (MRO, Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul), is expanding its presence in Europe with the opening of a new distribution centre in Zwenkau, south of Leipzig. This new location will serve as a central point of contact for distribution in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and is set to become the US company's second largest location.

Strategic expansion and local support in the district of Leipzig

With more than 200 employees worldwide and operations in the USA, Singapore, Australia, the UK and South Africa, the C&L Aviation Group is continuing its course of expansion. The location in Zwenkau marks a strategic move to optimise logistics and services for customers in the EMEA region and to relocate from the previous location in London to Germany.

Invest Region Leipzig GmbH (IRL) supported the establishment of C&L in Zwenkau. The support included the provision of suitable property options both for purchase and for rent, establishing contacts with local recruitment agencies and networking with local logistics and infrastructure service providers such as Netzwerk Logistik Mitteldeutschland.

The new location offers the C&L Aviation Group numerous logistical advantages thanks to its central location in Europe and its proximity to important transport networks, which enable fast and efficient transport routes in all directions. The opening of the distribution centre is an important step for the Leipzig region and strengthens its position as an attractive location for international companies in the aviation industry.
